Our client had recently moved into a large chalet style house with extensive grounds. The outlook from the master bedroom out to the pond in the garden wasn’t being made use of with a small window. Similarly, the kitchen and dining area didn’t connect well to the outside space. The garden had to be accessed via the utility room.

An extension from the kitchen allowed the dining room to be positioned looking out to the garden via new sliding doors. The existing study area was reduced in size to create a new utility room.

A new en-suite was added to the master bedroom, as the previous en-suite wasn’t making the best use of space but to accommodate this, part of the roof was removed and a new section of wall built up and new roof constructed over at a lower pitch to allow more headroom and the ability to utilise more of the room.
