We attended the property for an initial consultation and were appointed immediately after the client had exchanged contracts in their buying process with this 1930’s detached property. We returned to carry out a full measured survey to begin our services.

The old entrance to the house was unassuming with no protection from the weather. A new porch and canopy were designed and featured plenty of glazing and vaulted ceilings.

The previous arrangement left the kitchen isolated from the dining area. By removing walls and extending out to the rear, a large, spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area was created.

Above the garage and side extension, a new double bedroom was formed with a dressing room and en-suite. All existing bedrooms were refurbished to a high standard with emphasis on contemporary styling. An en-suite was provided to the guest bedroom and the existing bathroom was revamped.

The client opted to swap their old gas boiler for a new air source heat pump, connected to solar panels and battery storage.

External works have recently completed which conclude the project works.

We really enjoyed working with Gareth on our full house renovation and double story extension. He listened to our requirements and suggested helpful and practical solutions to get us to what we wanted. He explained things well to us and helped with recommendations and ensuring the planning application was correct. Highly professional and quick with responding to emails and calls. He provided support throughout the project when required.
